Its essentially that easy. But you may or may not still need a Pandora battery. (not like im into all this stuff.... but u can buy them for $60 at pandorabattery.net) Just pop it in and i think it has on-screen instruction. If u have a slim the screen wont come on with a Pandora i dont think but it will still work. Not like i been researching this or anything.... but THIS will grab you by the hand and yank you towards pirate heaven. (I AM 100% AGAINST PIRACY) but its pretty obviouse why most people want to CFW their PSPs. Oh and btw dont worry about "teh brickage".... Pandora is "teh anti-brickage". Not like i researched this or anything.... i dont plan on doing that to the PSP that i ordered 37 minutes ago on eBay. Nooo Waaay!

Heh. I stopped modding my PSP's when Dark Alex left a looooong time ago. Back then, you needed Grand Theft Auto or a really old firmware to mod your PSP. Can anyone tell me what has changed/what are the current new things with PSP modding. I remember it was great fun and now that I have a whole summer to myself I might start toying around with that stuff again. The best purchase I made was a X2 Battery Pack and 4 GB HDD for ~75, but that probably is not a good deal now since it's been years and prices have probably gone down. I'll give rep to those who fill me in.
EDIT: The firmware is 3.40 OE-A

You can download or rip the psp game disks to save battery, play ps1 games and so on. But im sure you know most of this. I dont know what you use but go to http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/ it will tell you everything you need to know about psp moding. Im sure theres a guide to making the pandora stuff there to, that or at least a link to buy them.

Unless you have the rare person that is selling his own stick to upgrade or for whatever reason, chances are it's a fake (they still work, just write a bit slower).

Actually you can hardmod a Slim battery to work as a Pandora's which I did for my Slim. I also formatted my memory stick using a card reader on my computer and loaded m33. Hardmodding a Slim battery however requires you to reconnect two points or the battery will remain a Pandora's. I highly suggest buying the extended life battery kit if you purchase a slim. Avoid ebay/extra-cheap$$ batteries as they usually have poor performance. Stick with SONY.
edit: oh i use mine for mp3's and games. Its great to bring to work and hook up to a stereo. PSPRadio is an awesome homebrew app for getting shoutcast's as well.

I REALLY REALLY want to do this to my PSP, I've been reading for countless hours but I've given up. I got a new Crisis Core PSP, which means it probably has that dodgey motherboard in it, and I don't really want to rip open my battery and play around inside it with no experience.
Besides I don't think I can do anything with the weird motherboard.
