Will there be a multiplayer for MGS4 offline like co-op or some game modes etc

My brother only has one controller and I dont know if I should buy another one since I dont know which games are 2 player.

He has

Assasins Creed
Burnout
GTA IV
MGS4 (pre-order)
Oblivion


Any of them able to support 2 players on the same system

i would assume burnout has a multiplayer but i don't know for sure.

im pretty sure burnout is the only one of that list that has local multiplayer

To my knowledge burnout DOES NOT have offline multiplayer only online. So no split screen action at all
