Question Grainy Battlefield?

Does anyone elses BF BC look grainy? Is it the way it's supposed to look?

The minimap and HUD looks fine, but the scenery/whole environment looks grainy.

Hopefully i can just play with settings and adjust it, but if it's the way the game is supposed to look, then i am a bit disappointed with it.

Cheers

MaK

I noticed that as well, although it might be an artsy look, I would also like to know if their is an option to turn it off. I couldn't find one in-game.

it's on the PS3/Plasma so no screenies available.

If you have a PS3 though, just download the demo and you should see what we mean.

It looks like it is meant to be an artsy fartsy feature....but i hate it and would like it gone.

All the other FPSs on the PS3 look nice and smooth.....i prefer that look ofer this grainy crap.

cheers

its grainy because of the style. infact you might realise its mostly just the characters models that are grainy. its sort of a more dirty feel to an army based game. if you notice, all the textures of the grass, smoke etc are normal.

Is it HUEG grain, as in Mass Effect, or nice film grain like in Assassin's Creed (current time)?

Its actually like a full screen grain affect, try going into an open area crouch and just look into space you can see it everywhere, but its not a bad thing just a different artistic style.

Omg Mak, you're alive and back into gaming

Yeah I've noticed BF BC is grainy. You played multiplayer yet? It's awesome if you can get the hang of flying the helis.

Like BF2 Dunno if you can solo TV them though
