Default PS3 firmware 2.36v released!

Sounds like 2.40v will be the next firmware. XMB and trophies!

Home will be stand alone, as far as im aware. This update is pretty useles in the grand scheme of things.

All I care is that it is one step closer to 2.4. I really didn't find any significant info either.

Maybe it was said did not read every post but what is XMB?

...and trophies I think is far from useless isn't that their Achievements system? If so I cannot wait for it myself. I am very much looking forward to it.
