Default Question: Console Game Lag

Ok so a guy at my work just bought a 32 inch 1080P LCD tv. It was 1000$.
Now why so much you ask?

Well it has 1080P, It has a "Vyper Drive", and a "game" button on the remote.

heres a link to a review: http://www.gadgetell.com/tech/commen...0p-gaming-lcd/

My question is has anyone really experienced a "lag" between the tv and a gaming console on a fairly modern tv?? I personaly have never had it happen to me and I never even thought about it till I read about this.

I think this is the most retarded tv ever, like its not even a tv its a larger than average computer moniter.

I think it's called Progressive scan that you might need to turn on?

I've never noticed any lag playing a console. It's just one of those stupid selling points that some people fall for.

If you've ever played Guitar Hero, you'll definitely notice that there is lag with LCD displays. That's why there's a handy tool in Guitar Hero to sync the music with the display.
