Hi, I am looking for a app that can stream to the PS3. I have tried TVersity but doesn't seem to work under Windows Server 2008 and I cant install WMP11 without enabling Desktop experience which I don't want to do (RAM)
Any other programs?

Theres a chart in the link in my sig full of media servers. There's always the Google Media Server which was recently released also.

If you run Linux then there is a really great program called Mediatomb. I personally use that and have found that it can stream almost anything. Even x264 media and WMA music.
Try playing around with Orb for Windows. It allows you to access your media from anywhere in the world, but it also has UPnP support because I noticed it showed up as a server on my PS3.

It allows you to stream your media anywhere and the PS3 will automatically recognize it on the lan. I use it and it works great. I can even stream a movie on my HD to the PS3 and watch it on my tv with DVD quality.

With Tversity if your router has a firewall, I would try turning off your OS's firewall and seeing if your PS3 sees Tversity. All great suggestions.

Can you not run TVersity under WindowsXP Compatibily mode (not sure if this option is available in 2008 tho, having never used it)... I have to do this with my Vista64... Works fine after that. Streams AVIs, Music, Pictures all without problems.
