You gotta update the Drivers! lol. I think its cause The Darkness was a direct port from the 360.

The Darkness is just not a good game which is probably why. No FPS shooter I've played ever lagged though.

Most PC and 360 games ported to the PS3 tend to have some lag issues. Including The Darkness, Orange Box and FEAR just to name a few... I wonder if it's the RAM or GPU's fault... Or simply lazy coding...

Lazy coding. These games tend to lag because they don't bother with any of the supporting CPU's, they just have the whole game run on the main one.

i own the game adn it runs fine but it just straight up hangs for a few seconds then goes back to normal...but i think thats just my wireless internet
