333MHz yo.

My PSP could actually do with some extra cooling.
When I'm streaming a movie from my pc the wireless
part heats up the memory card alot.

remove the UMD bay and bolt that sucker on.
Lmao that would be a sight.

I'm thinking about removing my UMD drive and
adding a camera + second memory card slot.

Only problem i can think of is getting the firmware wrote
to accept a second drive.

hmmmm

Theres no reason to "rewrite" the firmware. You wire it into the memcard point on the mobo. Been done numerous times

Oh snap.

Happy days

Oh aswell, my brother makes carbon car body panel kits
and I'm in the process of making a PSP phat mold
so he can carbon moi PSP. I'll post pics when It's done
Won't be for a few weeks yet though.

It'll probably end up being matte carbon because I'm sick
of finger prints driving me nuts.

If all goes well i might start selling carbon cases lol.

Krunk, I talked with my friend to verify what PSP version he has, asked him few questions and I can positively state that it is a 2000, PSP-2004 to be exact.

It's odd that it is having the same behaviour as the 3000, maybe newer 2000s have the same IPL version as the 3000?

Yeah, since it was shipped with firmware 4.01 it probably has the TA-82 mobo....

It's not currently flashable but it's getting very close.
