Be careful when playing with stuff on these things
You're supposed to backup Flash0 so when you turn on your PSP, hold R and enable USB under Flash0 in the CFW's recovery mode and restore the files.

To drebrick it, you need that Pandora's battery and reset the firmware.

And may I ask why you're using the old old flash0 way of using custom themes? Sony put in a custom theme option in it's options for a reason..........

Just a thought when I researched this. I believe you can make a pandora battery via software if you have a phat. The slim needs the hardware mod which I wouldnt suggest doing but rather just order the battery.

Also when you do the slim the screen wont come up so you have to go by the flashing hardrive light to make sure it worked.

Also Im not 100% on this but on a slim you cant run the 1.5 kernel or you will mess up your psp. Im almost sure you need Dark Alex's time machine to allow a slim to run a 1.5 kernel safely.

Please feel free to correct anything I have said because my battery for my slim was just sent out to me and I should be getting it any day now.

I would also suggest to download this file since its the known to make things simpler.

That's basically the same exact thing I linked, lol.

No, you cannot run the 1.5 kernal on Slim, and yes you can use Time Machine for that.

After you make the magic memory stick, you leave it in the PSP drive and put the Pandora battery in, and when it goes it the PSP will turn on automatically, but nothing will show on the screen. The green power light will be on, and shortly after the memory stick light will flash. Just press X and follow on screen instructions.

I've flashed my PSP (PHAT) and 2 other peoples PSPs (slim) no problems at all. I may consider flashing overclock.net peoples PSP for a small fee, but I havent really done anything pertaining to that for awhile. I might just sell my PSP anyway....

Yeah, sorry man. I had to debrick it this morning and wasn't able to get to the post office.

I'll ship it out Monday

EDIT:

As soon as I can sort out this flash0 problem I'm having, I'm gonna take some screenshots of a modified XMB so you guys can see what CFW can do

Just got a PSP Phat from a friend, it has stock firmware version 2.00, will this method work with this firmware?
