Dude, I LOVE FFVII!! I was playing it last week trying to get all the Weapons. I have the complete FF series, with my favorites being (in order) 7,9,10,8 X-2
 I will take these games to the grave I sold my PS1 and every game EXCEPT the FF series

It took me a while to warm up to FF7 because I was such a huge fan of the NES and SNES Final Fantasys. FF7 changed the style so much that it seemed like a different game at first. But once I "got it" and recognized that it wasn't all that different, I played the heck out of it.
Definitely looking forward to the FF7 sequel coming out for PSP. Quote:

i played ff7 first and loved it!
__________________then i got ff9, but a few weeks later i got a ps2 along wth ffx, so then i dropped ff9 and started ffx. i cant wait for ff7 advent children, do u think aeris will play a part in the movie?

i think its so great because of the story cuz i just played it one year ago, right around when doom 3 and all the high end games were out(which i was playing as well) even though they were amazing at the time the graphics and sound and controls were all sub par compared to all the new games. But one aspect of the game kept me tied to it until i beat it. the story was amazing!!! by the end of the game, i wanted to keep going. hear more about cloud's story. and then there was aeris. im not going to spoil anything, but i really hope they have her in ff7 advent children question: is advent children taking place b4 or after the game (i think its after not sure)
