PS3 Model Comparison
Here is a nice chart I made showing the differences of the PS3 models, I will update as needed.
 Please let me know if you would like information added. If you see information that is incorrect please let me know and provide a source with the correct information, thanks.

i would rather have the older 80gb than the newer 8gb or 160gb, 65 or 90nm, because of ps2 backwards compatibility.

I got a 60GB model. Backwards compatiblity is great and all but it is better to just get a PS2 slim since the PS3 isn't exactly 100% perfect. There is a new PS2 slim (slimmer and no AC adapter) coming out http://kotaku.com/5041923/new-ps2-mo...ting-us-stores.
