Default Scariest thing happened to me today......

I was playing NHL 09 on PS3 today and all of a sudden, out of no where, I heard this loud CLICK come from my PS3 and my screen went black. I sat there, scratched my head, and then looked at my controller and it was still connected. I went to my PS3 and the red light at the front was off, so I assumed the switch at the back had switched off somehow (GHOST?!). I checked the switch, and it was in the on position. Next thing you know, I'm freaking out thinking my PS3 had blown up or something on the inside. I then discover that the power cord was loose in the back the PS3. I had a sigh of relief, then went to sleep because I felt tired after that (probably 5 minutes) for some odd reason. :P

Omg omg omg! I had a similar experience!!

I was making soup in the microwave when I heard a "click" sound coming from the front door. I checked it out, and it turns out the wind was pushing a branch against my door!

So i sat down right there and scratched my head, then I heard the microwave beep and I went to check up on it. 10 minutes later I'm done my soup and I go in the kitchen to put the bowl in the sink when what do you know, the microwave door was open ajar! I sat down right away and gave my head a really good scratch.

Anyways turn out I hadn't closed the door hard enough and it was still open! I had a sigh of relief and went to bed.

Kinda like forgetting to plug in the PCI-e power to your video card. Now there's a sound that nearly gave me a heart attack.

My scariest was probably mounting my CPU. I felt like I might snap my motherboard...stupid 775.

Oh man! I nearly died when I first heard that sound. I mean, can't they just switch it to elevator music?

@Sikkamore

Keep in mind that PlayStation 3 uses a hard drive. Any form of improper shut down may harm the hard drive. So, check the power cord from time to time.
