Default List of helpful PSP homebrew and utilities.

I looked around on here and didn't really see any sort of thread linking to various homebrew and/or PSP utilities and thought maybe we could get one going. I've done this before with my "Software Toolbox" thread and it was very successful.

I'll get us started and I'll update the original post as we go.

----------------------------------------------
Utilities

RS GUI Popstation MD v3.0 - This is used to backup PS1 games THAT YOU OWN and to be able to install them onto your PSP.

3.90 m33 Easy Installer - This is a very easy "follow the directions" application that will help you create a Magic Memory Stick used in conjuction with a Pandora Batter to flash your PSP to CFW 3.90 m33.

PMP Mod v1.01 - Getting tired of the mpg4 format? Well this allows you to play AVI's from your PSP.

PSPTube - You Tube on the PSP. I've never been able to get it to work, but I've seen lots of people who have.

Easy PSP Flasher - Use this with the PSP flashing guide in my sig.

WiFi Sniffer - Does what the name says.

3.71 Fatmsmod patch for 5.00m33 - This will apparantly stop CSO and ISO lagging. Havent had a chance to try it, but I will soon.

Despertar del Cementario v7 - This is made by the same guy (DaX) who makes the m33 firmware. It is a universal unbricker.

HellCat's Recovery Flasher - This is an amazing app. Before I started using CXMB, this app saved my ass numerous times by unbricking my PSP. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L6MUJYKM - Krunk's all-in-one POPSLoader. I just spent an hour putting this together. I took out all of the leg work of having to decrypt the firmwares to grab the pops files. Use it and enjoy it. README IS INCLUDED - READ IT

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MX9MHI58 - another goody because I love you all so much. This is the 3.71 fatmsmod.prx, which is the actual memory stick driver. 3.71 firmware had the best driver evar. This is a must install, it will eliminate most if not all ISO/CSO lag from the memory stick. Again I took the liberty to pull this file from the firmware so you don't have to do it. INSTALL IT NOA!

----------------------------------------------
Homebrew Apps

PSPRadio - Great radio streamer, I used it a lot. More straight forward and faster than the stock PSP radio streamer.

PSP Doc Maker v0.21 - I find this really handy when u have a txt file or pictures that you want to make a doc/manual out of, therefor you have can have walkthroughs and stratagies guides with you all the time (posted by Dotard)

http://www.pspkvm.com-a.googlepages.com/ - This is a homebrew application that allows you to run mobile Java apps on the PSP (Opera Mini ect.)
http://www.operamini.com/download/pc...vanced_midp_2/ -Opera Mini files; use this with PSPKVM if you want a different/better web browser. Make sure to set the resolution to 480x272.

PiMPStreamer - Allows you to stream media from PC to PSP. Gonna try this one soon and report back. (posted by ZealotKi11er)

CXMB 3.3 - Use this for custom themes so you do not have to mess around in the Flash0 of the PSP.

http://dl.qj.net/LightMP3-v2.0.0-BET...7304/catid/140 - Light MP3 - Make your PSP louder. This can blow your speakers if abused. I don't wanna hear anyone blaming me 'cause I will just lul at your expense. It's common sense time folks!

----------------------------------------------
Games

NesterJ - NES Emulator (I believe either the 1.5 kernel or Time Machine is required for this)

snes9xTYL - One of my favorites, SNES emulator. I spend a lot of time in here.

PicoDrive - This is the Sega emulator I use. It works fine, but is no where near as nice and refined as snes9xTYL.

gpSP 0.9 - GBA emulator. I haven't had the chance to use this emu yet, but I believe it has to be used either with a phat with the 1.5 kernel or on a Slim using TimeMachine.

Daedalus x64 - n64 emulator, works alright....this is a very new version that is "supposed" to be better than previous.

PSP Revolution - Easily one of the best PSP homebrew games to date. This homebrew gets top 10 download wherever it is posted.

DOOM PSP - Who doesn't like DOOM AMIRITE?

Duke Nukem 3D port to PSP! - This is great fun, although it has to be ran on a phat with the 1.5 kernel or through timemachine. I've read somewhere that there is a SLIM version that can be run on the 3.60 kernel...haven't found that one yet...

Gunnar Hero - Guitar Hero homebrew spin-off. GREAT GAME.

Duke Nukem 3D SLIM version! - OMG! Duke 3D for the slim!

JellyCar - My new favoritest homebrew game. So simple but addicting!

CW Cheat - Install this and press select for 3 seconds at any point in-game. This will pull up a cheat menu that will apply the cheats to the games

Fall Ball v3 - Another very addicting homebrew game.

----------------------------------------------
Plugins

Music prx for CFW 3.90+ - This allows you to play mp3's in game and in the XMB.

I'm putting this together at work, so I may just randomly stop updating and leave it unfinished for a while. Please suggest anything for the PSP that you like and I'll add it to the list.

Thank you for that, but I want to keep this just as database for direct links and no tutorials here. I want to delete your post and then add the helpful apps in your post to my list. Thanks

Well, if you like and if you trust me, you can send yours to me and I'll be happy to mod it for you free of charge.

Why not use CXMB that's for 5.00?

I like the one I have now, I've grown fond to it

The community with cxmb for 5.00 is booming anyways so I'll just keep an eye out for more of them.

So your theme isn't transferable to CXMB 5.00?
