Default Why can I make

Why give me the ability to emulate a ps2 memory card when I can't play ps2 games? Can we get like a software download or something to play ps2 games? I dont want to bring out my ps2.

Off topic, but your avatar reminds me of my freshmen science teacher who, when talking about random capitol letters in a test she made said S!#& happens instead of shift.
On Topic, This might mean it's upcoming, who knows.

I think there may be some PS2 games that can be downloaded from the PSN.

Or, it's a feature that must be there for the original PS3 SKU's that do support PS2 games.

It's there so that they do not have to create two separate firmwares for each update release: one for the 60GB models (which do support PS2 games) and one for the rest of the models that no longer support backwards compatibility.

It's just a leftover form the 60GB PS3 which had backwards capability with PS2 games. But, since it costs so much to make PS3s, Sony got rid of that componant in the 40GB/80GB versions but clearly didn't bother to take out the PS2 Memory Card option.

It seems like a really stupid thing to get rid of. I love my 80 gig that plays ps2 games.
