PS3 by far, people who say the 360 has more powerful hardware and better(Higher Graphics) games are either Fanboys or Uninformed. I have played both, and personally think Killzone2 and MGS4 are one of the greatest games ever made.

PS3 has 3 high rated shooters. Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and MGS4.
__________________360 has Halo 3 and Gears. The games in my opinion are Killzone 2 > MGS4 > Halo 3 > GoW2 > Resistance 2. Xbox 360 games generally look better than PS3 if it is a multiplatform game, however, the PS3 exclusives look much better than anything the 360 offers.

PS3 Both Resistances,killzone 2,MAG.
You also have MGS 4 and uncharted,both games are TPS's but uber awesome.

With most games being multi platform, it doesn't really matter what console you buy.
__________________Although there are a few differences in the consoles themselves. First of all you will want to see which controller feels the most comfortable for you. Then you have to decide whether to you want to pay for xbox live and get top notch quality, or settle for the free PSN which the quality is less consistant. Also, go with what your friends have if the console doesn't really matter.

The 360 had better game titles period. Not just shooters, but all games.

I got the Xbox and really like it a lot.And my brother has the PS3.IMHO my Xbox is better even though his PS3 is nice i see stuttering in games and once in a while it lockups up.Im not sure if its a PS3 or just his PS#.BUt i like the PS3 controllers better
