i had a 360, sold it, and got a PS3. I am much happier with the ps3. I play games but I also wanted a console that I could use for something besides playing games on. Your gonna drop $400, the thing should have some bells and whistles.

reasons why I'm happier with the PS3:
blu ray player
free online gaiming
linux - makes the PS3 a mediacenter PC
i liked the games better

i got sick of paying a mothly fee to play a game with my friends. it's honestly not worth it. PS3 online gameplay and interface has no issues and its free. In all honesty, I do not notice any performance difference between the two.

the only thing that the xbox had going for it was the option to stream movies from your netflix account. But in my opinion the ps3 benifits were far better than those of the 360.

insted of thinking about what games are out take a different perspective and think of what the two consoles offer.
