First off - for all you know I could be.
Secondly, you obviously don't know what proprietary even means because it is not in any way shape or form. And that applies to every single PS3 SKU to date buddy. The hard drive in the PS3 is the same as any laptop - and they aren't proprietary. You can remove and even use the PS3's hard drive as a hard drive in your desktop or laptop.
