Now more recently a person created an app called "Custom Firemware Enabler" (now on ver.3.5) that will simulate m33 custom firmware on the PSP 3001. This will let you do anything a PSP 2001 with CFW can do but if you completely turn off the PSP then you have to start the whole process over.

When I put this here I have I have no intentions of anyone following my advice. I do respect the "higher" authority.

For your INFO: Anyone can find this on the web. It is very very popular.
Well I wans't sure if I was allowed to talk about Hacked PSP's thats why I was typing Cough and stuff

I see it but I'm not sure if 5.03 or 5.00m33 is better or what is better lol

M33 is better by far. It is permanently installed on the PSP. When you run 5.03 ChickHEN with CFW enabler, it is only temporarily there until the PSP is turned off.

If you have anymore questions plz ask. I've hacked for years, its fun sticking it to the man.

Same, but what I really want to know is what's the difference between both firmwares?

If you were to look at some popular old threads, you can see half of the well-known high repped members are banned. They were banned because OCN turned into a "communist" site as you can call it and wanted total control over everything.

I'm thinking the main difference is that M33 is installed and the other one is just something you have to run every time you turn your PSP back on.

It's like the old HEN loader, you had to run it first before loading anything custom. With M33, it seems it's an installed full firmware, so you never have to do any constant loading of another just to load something else.

If you care that much then report it. Quoting it and stating your own comment without contributing to the thread doesn't make it any better.

What's up with your firmware?
