Well , I have the 40GB version. With a 40GB HDD is in. I have about 8 games installed on it. Some save games on it and a demo is installed on it. Other than that nothing. And I think it was almost full. So i'm upgrading to a 500GB or a 1TB. Depends on the price when the time is ripe.

I have the 40gb model too. I have lots of demos and movies and ran out of space. I just recently got a decent deal at MicroCenter on a WD 250gb hd for 54.00. Hopefully that will do the job for a while!

well I barely use any PS3 space because I stream everything through my network via PS3 Media Server. The only space I have used on my PS3 is a couple DL games from PSN and all the PS3 updates and Game updates. nothing big.

can you plug and play any external HDD with the PS3? I have the 80GB Release model and a Seagate 320 external I cant get it to register on the old beast...
