PS3 Down lol - Overclock.net

Hello guys.

My PS3 Blu-ray drive has decided to take the plunge into the underworld lol

I have just had a courier pick my PS3 up and to be sent off to Sony repair center.

Hopefully the turnaround will not be too poor.

What lamer is my PS3 was out of warranty so I had to pay £99 for it lol...ouch..but I rang up and told them the PSU was making a funny noise so if theres something wrong with tit Ill get that fixed at the same time. Woop.

Owel atleast it was not the YLOD...Thank god.

Still lame you had to pay money to fix it. I wish warranties were everlasting.

Well I would love if it had more than a year warranty lol. Atleast I get another 3month warranty when I get it back. The it will die again outside the warrantly likely haha.

Grr. Atleast PS3 breakdowns are not as common as what the Xbox360 was.

One had the fat one, other had the slim one.
