I want to know for how long it is going to work. Because normally fixes like this bring back the YLoD after several months. The solder just melts again.

Isn't the PS3 a George Foreman grill anyway?

I would have turned it on, grabbed some Rib-Eye steaks and gave it a few mins on each side.
