Default Brutal legend on PS3, maybe not such a good idea?

So I live in a suite on campus with a few guys, and between us we have a 360, PS3 and 1080p TV. So naturally, when the Brutal Legend demo came out, we had to compare. TV settings were the same, both using HDMI, sound though the TV speakers, and well... got some interesting results.

First thing we noticed was the deeper colors on the PS3 version. But then, as we switched between the two, the PS3 versions models/anti aliasing were horrifyingly bad compared to the 360. After we checked things, we realized the PS3 wasn't outputting the game in 1080p, but the 360 was!

Interesting.

But here is where my concern starts. The sound. Before downloading the demo, people were complaining about the sound on the PS3 version. And wow, were they right. It was noticeably tinny and distorted, and when compared to the 360 version, it was just sad. I'll actually go out on a limb and say it was unplayable!

Now I am the one who owns the PS3, but now I'm thinking ill just let my buddy get it for his 360. Is anyone planning on getting the PS3 version tomorrow who can verify if they fixed the sound? Because if they haven't, thats a huge deal breaker.

well usually a Demo is unfinished so i wouldnt judge the game on some bugs in a demo. you would have to wait till someone buys it or try it out yourself
