Hi i have ps3 fimware 3.01 but it not playing sound on all .avi files, picture perfect. I thogth is my media streaming problem but even i played movies from ext. hdd it was issue. for exsample i have one movie divided in two parts one of plays sond one of not, so whats wrong and how to fix it withot convertig it? Is it posible stream file strait away in right frmat or so?

Try Tversity. It does all the conversions for you, and streams to your ps3. Dunno if that will solve it.

do i have to wait till movie will be converted or it can steam srait a way right format

Streaming is pretty quick. Maybe a 15 second wait. No converting. You just put it in the program and use it on your PS3.

thanks i like this program but for some reason it don make difrences still no sound, can u like configuration of this program how steam to ps3?

I found that streaming movies to the PS3 does not fix sound issues. I had .avi files which played perfectly on my computer but then on the PS3, all I could hear is screeching. I found the best way is a PS3 file converter. They take quite a while to convert (15 minutes for a movie on sig rig/100% cpu usage) but then your file should work.

I am not home right now and I dont remember the name of the program I found but if you still have issues by the time I get back home (2 days), Ill find the name of the program for you =)

turn off acc

and get this handy program

what happens is junk gets caught in the beginning of the audio and the ps3 wont play it one run through that and it should work like any other
