Default Bought a brand new PSP...
...for $150 AUD (pretty cheap ey )
not the PSPGO, I think it's the 3000 model not sure.

okay just needing some suggestions for games and cool stuff to do with it.

custom firmware is where you start
from there u can use custom software for ur psp
to doo all sort of cool

google can guide u in step by step
and the games is a personal choice

As long as his FW isn't 5.50+ He can use CFW now.
I linked further up, they released a CFW for PSP-3000 and TA-088v3 owners.

Echochrome is a great game. Same with any PSN classic such as FF7 and MGS. FFissidia is alright.
