Default Keyboard and Mouse on PS3
Ok So I am at work sitting in Envy about all the Unchartered 2 talk...However I hate playing FPS on consols...Mainly cause I suck at them...lol...I am far better with a keyboard and mouse...Now I know I can hook up a keyboard and mouse to the PS3 and it will work, however never tried it with games....

Does anyone know if a keyboard and mouse will work with games and if so which games it will indeed work on??

A keyboard and mouse will not work on any games on the ps3, they only work when your on the main menus.

I am both a PC and console gamer and once you get used to the controller it's actually better than a keyboard and mouse. I don't think the controller should stop you from getting a ps3, but that's your choice. I'll just say Uncharted 2 is simply amazing, and leave it at that.

Killzone 2 and Uncharted convinced me to get a PS3. There is a learning curve for the controller with each type of game but the games are epic! There really should be no comparison between PC and console gaming. Plus the PS3 is a great console/htpc

Actually you can use a keyboard and mouse on the PS3 if you purchase the correct items. You need to have XIM 360, thats been modified for the PS3, along with some other items. I have the xim 1 and a YOBO JOY BOX. You can read all about it on this forum: http://xim360.com/community/index.php?board=25.0

I thought that you can use a PS3 kb/m on a couple games (without having to use adapters or anything, if you get the right keyboard). I thought that I remember people saying that it worked for Unreal Tournament 3. I think that's the only one I heard, I don't know if any others support it.

Could be wrong though.

Unreal Tournament 3 supports keyboard and mouse.

As far as I know, thats the only game though.

You could just play on the "Very Easy" setting. Besides practice makes perfect.
