Default PSP Questions

There's a big chance I'm going to get a PSP soon, so I have some questions:
  • What is the latest version of the PSP that can run most homebrew gammes
  • How's the battery life?
  • What's the screen's resloution?
  • What formats can it read?
  • What voltage does the the charger convert to?
That's all for now...

First about the firmware, yes they did crack the code, up to 2.6 (throu "gta liberty city") but its not as good as having 1.5 cause it can only play a certain types of files. The 2.0 you were right, you can downgrade 2>1.5 but you were asking about what can you do homebrow on.

Now about the sig, I did that because its really enoying me that I cant pm cause I dont have over 20 rep.

Really? I get longer than that gaming. Maybe 6 hours of multiplayer - less if I only leave it in hibernation rather than switch it off.

I mean multiplayer with wifi turned on, it also depends on the game.

That's all for now...
*2.6 with GTA:LB, but anything below that you wont need the game loader.

*Battery life depends on what your doing, if your playing a game such as lumines or something, it can last for quite a while, up to 6 hours. I got up to 6.5 hours with MGA2, but with something with high demand processing, like 2.5hrs - 3.5

But there is a new battery on the market that is advertised to be 1.5x more battery life than the stock PSP battery, havnt really looked into it yet though..

*What do you mean, formats? If you ask about video, it plays MP4 i think, and of corse UMDs.

*The voltage on my charger says 4v, not sure what your trying to ask here.
