Default Boomerang out, dual-shock in.

As the title says, the PS3 controller will no longer be the big silver boomerang we saw so much, and it will be more like the classic dual-shock controller of the PS2.

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/705/705934p1.html

But, there will be no shock to the dual-shock! They got rid of the rumble feature for it
It apparently didn't work too well with the wireless motion-sensing... I'll miss the good ol' rumble whenever someone lights me up, or I drive into a wall...

Sorry if this was posted before, but I didn't see it anywhere after a little looking.

[EDIT] whoops, just saw a thread on it... my bad. Mod can delete this I suppose.

From what I read, the lost a lawsuit about the dual-shock (some guy says he came up with it in the 80s or somthing and sued microsoft and sony.) Microsoft setteld out of cort and got to keep using the ruble feature, but sony took it to cort and lost and now they cant use it any more. OWNED!

Hahaha, that's funny. What about the rumble feature being in the N64 though? The rumble pack...
Or was the Nintendo/creator of the rumble pack the one sueing?

I hate rumble, always have. I turn it off, it eats up too much battery power.

True, they did lose a lawsuit. But I'm thinking that Sony just had so little time to rip off the Wii's gyro concepts that their engineers could not make both gyros and rumble fit into one controller. No proof, just my speculation.
