that is really odd. Why would sony say such a thing. Personally, I think its because they consider microsoft their main competator, and if they can take sales from the 360 and increase sales to both the ps3 and/or wii, then it will just hurt 360 sales that much. You know what Im trying to say?
Oh well, such is life.

Well.....if i was to buy a next gen console...i would definitely buy the wii...it is honestly everythign i have ever wanted in a console system, and i go for un factor, not sheer processing power....
The funnest games ever are Zelda: link to the past, and super mario RPG, and they weren;t exactly graphically stunning.

I think everyone will buy a (PS3/Xbox 360) and a Wii. Cheap, accessable, they have themselves a winner, and won't be losing 300 dollars/console doing it!

EDIT: Also, Wii doesn't have overheating problems and you don't have to buy aftermarket coolers just to play for extended periods of time.

Wii seems to be the clear winner. It's the under dog, no one sees it as a serious threat but as a pawn to gain leverage on each other. Should be interesting, Methinks Wii is going to pounce when they least expect it, and it'll have the best price and game titles, to a certain extent.

Man, it is going to be hilarious if the Wii moves more units than the the X360 or PS3. I'm beginning to think that it is a real possibility, everyone has gone completely Wii-crazy since E3. And of course, everyone is now openly questioning everything about the PS3. The X360 will at least be able to close some of the price gap between it and the Wii by November (we all assume there will be a price drop by then anyway), but the "wow" factor won't be there to match the Wii.
It's going to be a fun year in gaming, I'll tell you that much.

No doubt. everyone I talk to may or may not be getting a ps3/360 but they sure will get a wii. I am getting one because it won't cost an arm and a leg and looks fun as heck.
