Default PS2 games on PC?
Is there a way to make the PS2 game play on the pc seeing my PS2 wont play cd roms any more only dvd games?

Sorry if this has been asked already I searched it but didn't find it.

AS far as I know there is no emulator for the PS2 and if there is then it's probably pretty ****ty

yeah even though emulators for ps2 and xbox have had alot of time and work put into them, they still dont play commercial games (i.e Halo, Tekken, Grand theft auto and so on)
and that is true if there is a ps2/xbox emulator out there it would be extremely buggy.

from what i heard they have made a working emulator now to do this, as long as you own the original game and a ps2, i think its ok for you to emulate...

I would much rather play my ps2 games on my computer. The only game I do play is Socom. The only way I would even consider getting a ps3 is when Socom 4 comes out, but I am regreting that day. Its those obsured prices that are slowly drawing me to pc games.

Yes you will need the PS2 emulator to play the PS2 format games on a PC. There not very easy to come across.

Ps1 emulators even suck when playing ps1 games on the pc. To get a ps2 emulator to work you would need a very fast computer.

Weird that my pc can read the disc inf so would you just need a program that would just kinda turn your pc into a "PS2"? Or is that what a emulator is ,does?

Ps2 in theroy should be easier than the xbox, this is because of the lower sppeeds it runs with.

And yes an Emulator allows you to play other format games on your PC
