dual rail or better is almost a necesity,
like well over 20 amps on the 12v closer to 30 on newegg.com, there is a SLI option for chosing PSUs

Here is a list of SLI certified PSUs:
http://www.slizone.com/object/slizon..._powersupplies The Antec Truepower II 550W would do the job: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931 And for more power the FSP Epsilon 600W or 700W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104014 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104015 Or the OCZ GameXStream (not listed, but since they're identical to the FSP Epsilon, they will do the job!) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341001 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002

LOL yes, the 1 Kilowatter definately will do the job. Just a tad expensive
![]() Any of the PSUs I mentioned, or any other from the certified list will be fine. No need to spend $400+ on a PSU while you can have identical performance for less than half... or even less than a quarter (Antec). I have the FSP 700W Epsilon myself, and it powers my Crossfire rig, which draws more power than an SLI rig... it works great for me.

ds = ?
Adn the Thermaltake yuo listed would be in addition to your main PSU. The PC will still be controlled by the main PSU and thus by the power switch (of course this one needs to be on also to power your video cards). If you building a complete new rig, I'd personally get a good, solid powersupply, like the ones I listed. If you already have a good PSU, but you think it's not powerful enough, then the Thermaltake might be a good option.

Well... for SLI you'll need a new motherboard (SLI with two PCI-E x16 slots). Which will mean you'll need a new CPU, and new RAM, a new PSU, obviously the new videocards....
Sounds like a whole new rig to me. In SLI mode, you can only use one monitor. However, you can switch to single-GPU mode, in which case you can use up to four monitors http://www.slizone.com/page/slizone_faq.html#s7
