Does anyone know if I can upgrade my Dell GX260 case with a 270w Power Supply from a GX620. I have a link to the PS. I need a faster card to play Titan Quest, so I am hoping to buy a low profile geforce 6200. I don't think my 160w power supply will keep up though. At the very least, I know I can put in a 210w power supply from a GX270. Would the extra 50w be enough for this card. I will put a link below for the card as well.
GX620 Power Supply http://cgi.ebay.com/DELL-OPTIPLEX-GX...QQcmdZViewItem Half-Height Graphics Card https://www.cesell.com/product.php?productid=31667 My GX260 has the stock 2.53G 533mhz P4. I am going to upgrade the 512mb of RAM to at least 1.5gb. |

As long as the card doesn't have an external power connector you should not need to upgrade the power supply. In this case the card does not, so you should be just fine. If dell didn't want you to add a graphics card they wouldn't have given you a slot to put it in, which I know they can do

Your current PSU may just cope with the card IMO. Im not sure if that other PSU will fit though. As there from pretty much the same series then they may..
