Default powering a molex connection without a mobo
Someone once told me how, and I couldn't find the post. How do I power something with a molex connector, by just plugging the PSU into the wall? I want to leak test a WC loop inside my case, without my mobo or any other components powered up, or near it for that matter.

How do I do this? If I wasn't clear in my question, just let me know.

disconnect the PSU from everything (except the wall and whatever you want to test). then use a paperclip to connect the green wire and any black wire to power it up.

Get a paper clip or somethin and jump the green wire to one of the black wires on the 20/24-pin main ATX power connector.
