Default Removing fans from psu
is it easy and safe? i want to get SOMETHING out of my busted psu. and two fans would be good.

Yeah, I had no problem getting mine out. It should be connected to a standard three pin fan power input. Some people say that if you go messing around with the PSU and open it up, you can get a deadly electric shock. I didn't really worry about this, OCing is all about risks

alright, as long as it is connected by a standard 3 pin, i'm fine. i'll be careful, and it's been dead for a day or so. not long, but i blew it out anyways, so i don't think it had any charge to begin with.

If you don't mind me asking: why are you going to put in another fan? What help would that do to a dead psu?

Why be careful your psu wont be plugged in

Didnt you say it died a day or so ago...hopefully you unplugged it soon after
