AMD Overclocker
|
I built my computer amonth ago and had no idea about overclocking. Now I am overclocking my C/GPUs. Soon ill be upgrading with new Fans (Zalman VF900-Cu / Thermaltake Big Typhoon) to keep up with the heat.
Later will be upgrading 2more gigs of RAM and another 7900GTX. Will the 550W be enough for the dual SLI, the new fans, and the overclocking? |

Avoid putting 4 sticks of memory in a AMD setup, or it'll slow everything down..

It should be able but I would recommend not getting those extra 2 GB's, at this point in time its pointless and like everyone said 4 sticks wont be good for your setup either.

That PSU form reading its specs should cope well with those componenets. Also as said dont use 4x memory modules with an AMD as it will stress the memory controller an give you a performance hit.
