Default multiple 12v rail question (OCZ GameXStream 600w specifically)

Hey -
I was considering the OCZ GameXStream power supply - it has really great reviews from some hardware websites (don't remember which specifically offhand)... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341001

my question is, i am considering getting the nvidia 7600 gt card, I read that the XFX 7600gt does not have an additional power receptacle.

With that in mind, if I get the OCZ GameXStream with multiple 12 v rails, can I still use this power supply even if I'm not using the 12v Rails right now?

I'm basically trying to build a system that will allow me to upgrade easier later, so I'm getting a mid-range video card now, with the intention of upgrading to a more insane card after dx10 is let out.

Can I use the OCZ GameXStream without using the extra rails?

Thanks.

that psu will serve you good , even if you don't use the pcie connector that does'nt mean that you're not using the rail .

I would highly recommend a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W: See Link Here. For $30 more, you'll have a better PSU than anything that you can get at that price range.

I like OCZ PSUs the most by far but with PCP&C introducing those PSUs at that price? It's impossible not to recommend over most if not all PSUs at that price point.

BTW, I'm not a fan of mutiple rail PSUs as well.

Multiple RAIL psu's offer stability across the system. Rails will be dedicated to certain hardware in your system when used. That PSU will be just fine for you.
