Default Btx Vs Atx Psu

What is the difference if any, between a BTX and an ATX power supply.

I BELIEVE that BTX includes the 24pin main board connector (vs old 20 pin ATX ) and the 8pin dual processor supplimental 12v connector.
But I'm not sure.

...Oh, and the BTX PSU form factor can be physically smaller. But, you can have a ATX form factor PSU which is BTX compatible.

They are pretty much the same, you can use a BTX PSU in an ATX case, and an ATX PSU in a BTX case.

So it really does not matter as long as it has either a 24 pin or a 20 pin+4pin(Pentium).

Is the 8pin dual processor supplimental 12v connector used only if you have a two processor board.
