I got my case today so I unplugged my mobo, put it in the case, put all the rest in the case, plug everything back on, turn the psu on, press the power button....... nothing. The leds on the motherboard are on, the fans on the front panel and the big fan at the rear end spin one turn then stops, no beep, no nothing. The 10cm led that came with the case didn't even turn on, although the fan leds do turn on for a half a second. What's going on !?!

ok this could be thew psu. so try another if you have one spare but also try resetting the bios and also make sure that the bios juper is in teh correct positon because i once had a pc that had the bios reset jumper on and it turned on for like 5secs and then turned off again as you described

It doesn't turn on for 5 seconds, only the fans spin for a second. I already tried taking the battery off for five minutes but it didn't work. This is really frustrating because this is a brand new psu, I don't see how it could have fried. Is there a way to see if my PSU is still working ?

Do you have "all" the power to MB connections attached?
I believe that MB has 4 total.

definately agree with inspire on the fact that your power buttons are setup incorrectly and thats where i place my bet and im def. sure of this 1000% although my first build my psu blew up rma'd it plugged it in and the computer fans and other stuff just spun for just one second so i fiddled with the computer power switch connecter setups for a bit and it finally turned on

I plugged all the led connectors where they're supposed to be, just like in the manual. I even tried turning it on with the EZ on button but it did the same thing.... Anyways, I still got like 5 or 6 hours before going to the store and replace it (still under warranty) so if anyone has any ideas on why nothing turns on, please help me out. Something tells me the PSU isn't dead, since the leds on my motherboard are on.
