Default psu 12v rail reading 11.3v in pcwizard

my cool master 450 psu is reading 11.3v via the pcwizard software. I am wondering if this is considered to be a normal value or is there too much load on the psu.

My system has the following 12v hooked up:
2 160gb drives
dvd+rw
cd-rom
6800gs video card

any info would be great.

Are there any other software you can try it with?
Such as Everest b/c it sounds very low for a CoolerMaster. I have one myself and it stays a little bit over 12v.

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.

All the software i use on my PC (and the BIOS) say the 12v rail is 11.47v, but if i test it with a multimeter it says 12.15v.

If you use the multimeter correctly and it shows 12v + /- 5% then don't worry since software reading is not very acurate.

Well please Download speedfan and tell us what it says there. At current yes your 12V rail is falling below reccomended spec.

No unfortunately it seems that PSU cannot hold the 12vRail at a stable Voltage. Seems like you will need a new PSU.
