Yes, that is a poor PSU you got there.

I would recommend switching that PSU before something wrong happend, if it were to occur.

I've red about the bad reputation of the Ultra PSUs since early 2004.

Let's see what $100 can buy you...........

Well, not much, I only see the OCZ PowerStream 520W worth buying, except you're going to have to stretch that budget by $42 more and get a $25 MIR, so basically you're getting it for $118.

If I were you I'd buy the PSU and add the extra cash, you'll get your $25, just like I got my $30 rebate check quick from OCZ.

Not entirely true. Ultra PSUs were at times problematic pre-2004. Post '04 they haven't made much 'noise' so to speak.

The best PSU IMO under $100 would be the Sunbeam NUUO.

Ok, I am looking at the sunbeam and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931

I am going to be running 2x HDDs, 2x 7900GTs, E6400, 8 Case fans, and a PCI cooler aswell. Will 550w be enough?
