I'm partial to OCZ, have both a 450 Modstream for 2 yrs. and a 520 Powerstream for a year without a hiccup or glitch, solid dependable rails.
They also have the best wuarranty out there, no questions asked.

topower used to make ocz psus... so both your psus are topower. now fsp is making the gamextreme psus so still a good company, but it's not the same as what you're used to

Sideburns, it is one of the quietest PSUs around, but don't go around saying its the most rock solid, a PC Power and Cooling (any of them) will beat the crap out of our PSU up and down, that's not to say it isn't an amazing PSU, it is, but it isn't THE best.

I'd beg to differ. Don't go spouting about stuff you have no idea about. I've seen a few tests where it was more solid and could hold a load better than the PC P&C 800 (or whatever it is).

I don't just make stuff up, to make my rig sound cooler. I research before I buy, and I simply buy THE best stuff...

Thanks.

I still recommend it, by the way.

I voted for the OCZ GameXStream, its a great PSU. The PC P&C 610 Silencer is a great one as well.

Seasonic all the way. Why buy retail rebrand when you can buy the originals.

OCZ Gamestream has different acoustic profile than Fortron Epsilon which made it loud. AFAIK, it is the same core except the fan controller part that made its fan spin almost twice as fast (extremely bad design).

Not sure about Silencer 610 cos never heard of it.

PC Power & Cooling. it's not as quiet as the S12-600, but it's a rock solid psu and it has a single 12v rail w/ lots of amps
