sounds like your surge protector is bad and over amping your PSU

Most likely caused from brown outs... do your lights dim alot in your house when you turn on a tv or things like that??

only thing that could resolve this is a battery backup which would keep the current stable. a surge surpressor will not protect you against brown outs

yeah, like i said, get a APC batteryback up, i have a 500w one, and its great....i think iut was 130$ at bestbuy

No but light bulbs burn out 10 times faster than they should.
