Default 1000W Galaxy + G80 SLI, enough?

Ok i'm looking at buying this when the G80 (GTX version) comes out in november. The reviews are good and I don't want to spend nearly 100$ more for the PC&C.
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16817194008

Any idea if this is gonna be able to handle SLI Geforce 8800 GTXs? I'm sure the 1000W will be plenty, but this is what i don't understand:
Output +3.3@30A,+5V@30A,+12V1@17A,+12V2@17A,+12V3@17A,+12 V4@17A,+12V5@17A,-12V@0.6A,+5VSB@6A

Can someone with some knowledge of PSUs fill me in and tell me if thats enough to power them? I was told i need 12v3@30a

Thanks

Honestly, with the ranged power use I have been hearing I am guessing no. There were talks of 250W+.

Thats 500w of power that leaves 500w to power my PC. Processor is lets say 100w, then my fans which isnt probably more than 50w, and i only have 1 raptor and 1 dvd-rw, and my sound card.

Should have like 200w to spare?

Edit:

Sorry, didn't realize that those rails were designated to a certain area. Looks like it won't be able to run 2 g80's in SLI.

The cards combined will draw 500-600W, so that leave at least 400W for the rest of your system, which should be plenty as long as you arent running a massive RAID array.

Well, let’s say that they use 300W. That's 600W for just video cards. Do you want to overclock them? That's going to take more power. Are you going to OC them & your CPU?

It just gets a bit tighter than I would personally want

Guys, it's NOT ENOUGH

The distribution of the rails on that PSU is very specific. There are five 12V rails, and that's what matters in this case. Each rail is 17A, but the five rails are divided in two groups.

12V1 and 12V2 are for CPU(s) only. Total max load on those rails is 34A.
12V3, 12V4, and 12V5 are for graphics and everything else. Total max load on those rais is 41A.

Thus, there is only 41A available for video, hard drives, optical, etc.

The high-end DX10 cards are rumored to draw up to 250 a piece. A pair would thus draw 500W, which equals 41.67A. Thus, the pair alone already exceeds the max total load on the set of 12V rails that has to power these cards.

Answer: No, not enough!

Personally, I would get the most powerful single rail PSU I can get my hand on, which is the PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750W with a single 12V rail of 60A. Then, I'd get a secondary PSU for the second DX10 card. This FSP Group (Fortron Source) BoosterX 3, 300W ( Max. 400W ) SLI Graphic PSU should be enough for the second card and will fit in an open 5.25" slot.
