Default PSU reccomdation

This rig will have a 1900 and AM2 opteron + water cooling run by the power supply.. so i want a 550-600 watt PS to make sure everything stays stable..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153039

i was thinkin of getting this one, and wanted to know if it would be good since i have heard mixed opinions about it. my 450watt antec has lasted forever and has been great but they dont have anything 550-600 watt and around 100-150 US.. anyone have any reccomdations?

Stay away from TT psu's. Not known to be reliable.
Here is my reccomendation. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151028

Plenty of power.

Good manufacturers are:
OCZ,FSP,Seasonic,PC power& cooling,Enermax, Hiper, and Silverstone to name some

I second that... very good specs, Active PFC, 4x18amp 12v+ rails, well know brand for quality.

#1. PC Power & Cooling (but most $$$ too)

Others: OCZ, Sunbeam, Antec

When did Seasonic come into the picture? (boy, I have not been keeping up)

I like TT PSUs, they're good IMO.

But I also think that for an extra $20, the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 will be a much better choice over any other PSU in its cathegory.

But otherwise, that TT PSU looks decent, it wouldn't be my first choice though but.........

You beat me to it (again) Nasgul.

I agree, the PCP&C Silencer 610 is the best choice.
