Hello my rig keeps sounding an alarm for my 3.3v rails being to low. I am wondering if 2.86 is too low for the 3.3v and how can I accurately measure the 3.3v rail with a MM? thanks for the help guys have a good one.

Use a meter and check the Orange wire from a SATA power connector or at the 20/24 Pin main plug. 3.3v should be very close to rated value.

Thats way too low. But Id check it with a multimeter to be certain. If thats the case, then you need a new PSU. My old PSU dropped to 3.1V and it was causing artifacts during the CPU tests in 3DM03 and 05.

Ok I have my MM on the orange wire on SATA power connector on the MM read 3.41 SOLID not even a .01 movement. So I have to ask does this mean that I am ok and my software is malfunctioning? Also how does software read these voltages cause even the BIOS read the 3.3 as 3.0?
