quick multi psu question??
im going to use spooks multi PSU guide to have 2 psu's and have 1 plug into my video card and the other into my mobo and drives etc/. but what will happen when i turn my pc off the 2nd psu will still be running power to my video card. Can i leave it running (will it hurt my video card) or do i have to turn it off immediately after my main psu turns off or what ???

i think for something such as your gfx card, a specific PSU would be better than trusting it to your jury rigging. http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/produc...0099/w0099.asp

if you hook it up correctly both psus should turn off

yea you do have to splice them witch im a little un easy about but i think im going to have the stronger psu power the mobo and video card and the weaker psu just power the drives and ill just leave power running to the drives ???
oh yeah that graphics card power supply i was about to buy but my video card connector is a molex not pci-e one

well i hooked up the second psu and it worked and everyhting (thanks spooked)
but some how it broke my keyboard and i got no performance increase (im still going to buy a new psu though still think it will boost my performance)
