I am in the process of fixing my PC and I notice that the 20pin plug on my PSU has some burnt looking spots on the last two orange wire. What may cause this type of thin to happen. I never noticed it before and I know that it wasn't there because I sleeved this PSU about 3 months ago. Also may this be the cause of my constant restarts?.Thanks guys have a good one.
EDIT: WOW my monitor just bugged out and started flickering violently I seen artifact everywhere and then my PC locked up, maybe this is the problem.

My computer's been restarting a lot lately too (i notice it's under load and sometimes when i touch the computer case like to put the side panel back on--wierd). I noticed that in BIOS the 12V is less stable and lower than when i had first bought it. I Prime 95ed @ my usual OC (263x9=2.37) and i got errors in 1 minute. The restarting problem had been going on for a month, and i've been using this OC for more than that, so i didn't guess the OC would be too much a problem. Then i thought since physical touch was making it restart, it could be a bigger hardware problem. Now i guess lowering my OC made the system more stable because the PSU has become unstable.

Yeah I know this is my third but I have had no problems with it. Like I said though it could be the VC after the last restart it was so hot I couldn't touch it.
