It fits into the PCI-e 6 pin slot. I'm not turning it on though until I know it wouldn't fry my card.

PCI-E 6 pin slot? You mean the PCI-E power connector? That comes from the PSU?

They are "backwards" compatible AFAIK.

No, I literally mean the "AGP Pro 6-Pin" as it is labeled. It is what my PSU has instead of the PCI-E. Did previous AGP cards even have extra six pin connectors? I have no idea what this thing is for. See my PSU in the sig.

Edit: "for quad xeon tyan 2466 motherboards" apparently. Ok, I'm a bit confused.

I don't think it'll fry your card then... It is called a PCI-E Power Connector, and the worst that can happen is that it only goes 5V instead of 12V, and that won't hurt it much (if at all!)

I would call before using it.

Looks at the pinouts for pci-e power:

Different voltages, I would not try it.

Mine looks exactly like the PCI-E (3 top, 3 bottom). I looked around, it seems it's
something for xeon server mobos only (like the EZ power plug next to the 12 pin on asus mobos)
