The best $50 PSU range is the $100-150 range

These, however, are good.

yeah really, dont skimp out on cheap ones, youll just end up buying another one for 100, save yourself the time and buy a nice $100 one like the enermax liberty at newegg.

I just bought this FSP 450W PSU after asking around the forums for the best sub $60-70 PSU. It has dual 18amps on the 12v's and is supported by 2 years warranty. FSP is a very trusty brand among the PSU's and I strongly suggest you get this for a few bucks more ($65 total shipped with tax).

Edit: I see that Mootsfox recommended this as well.

You are going to get this from a lot of people.

A $50 dollar PSU isnt worth buying. You can royally destroy your rig with a faulty PSU, and most of the PSUs under $75 bucks are NOT worth the shipping it costs to send them.

Look for something from OCZ, Silverstone, Enermax. However, your most likely to find something nice from the first of the three in your budget.

EDIT: FSP is indeed a good brand.

Anything in the 50 range is shakey, but FSP is always solid. The above links look pretty sweet

The 450W FSP is the best of those two, IMO.
