Default Hard Disks problem with noname PSU?!

hey,
my system is
p4 2,4Mhz @ 2,9Mhz
2x512Mb corsair xms ram
Ge force Mx 440
1 IDE Hard Disk
psu :300watt noname

I am buying another 2 sata hard disk to built a raid-0.
At http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine i added all my hardware,fans,etc
and the 2xsata drives.
The psu wattage was calculate at 258w.

My question is if there is chance that my psu creates a problem to my new sata drives?? I don't want that to happen...

Post the full specs of the PSU please, especially the max current on the +3.3v, +5v, and +12v lines. It should be able to handle two more HDs but in the long run you may want to upgrade it. How old it the PSU? Does your motherboard have voltage monitoring or do you have a multimeter?

Upgrade that PSU.I already got rid of my 430 Antec or I would have shipped it to you for free. Some cheaper PSU though don't actually run what it says.Just because it says 300 watt doesn't actually mean it will do it.Be careful to not fry anything.I would go back to stock speeds until you get a new one.
