Default pc power 750w

Today when i turned on the comp. It gives me a massage that there is not enough power supplied to the graphics card and the graphics card is switching to a lower resolution to protect from any damages.

The power supply is 750W and for this system isnt it supposed to be more than enough?

I wish my system gave me a "massage"

...okay...oaky, j/k.

Check the PCI-E power leads to ensure that they are fully seated.

That's exactly what that message si there to warn you abut, so the card does not hurt itself.

Glad to see you got it sorted out, we sometimes forget the most trivial things.

This one will be animated soon enough. It's taking a while because I'm re-teaching myself everything as I go along.

Righteous!

Silly things that I have done:

Power on w/o slotting the RAM
Power on w/o the ATX auxilliary plugged in
Power on w/o out the Power switch leads plugged in
Power on w/o the PCI-E plugged in

hmm.... I could go on, but that is enough embarresment for me today

...oh the wacky things we do
